Another Year, Another Fresh Beginning

Well, intrepid readers, it's now 2006 and we all can forget about last year - finally. We have a unique opportunity to begin anew with a brand new start to the year. A chance to begin fresh with renewed vigor and purpose. Revived determination with fortified motivation to carry forward onto achievements that will make us better, both physically and mentally. A new challenge to discover new possibilities, explore our inner selves, and develop new relationships for prosperity and happiness.

I would like to take a moment to wish everyone a peaceful, safe, and prosperous New Year. Smile more, strive to be friendly, and enjoy what time we have in this world. Instead of complaining, try to correct the situation. Be more proactive, care a little bit more than you're used to, help make society what it should be - mankind helping mankind, without thought, without compensation, without agenda.

Be well.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I would like to take this time to personally wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a most excellent New Year in 2006.

This is going to be a big year for me. Lots of things going on and major progress forward. I'm both apprehensive and excited about the coming year. Stay tuned, won't you?

And Now For Something Completely Different...

To borrow a line from one of my favorite comedy troupes - Monty Python's Flying Circus.

The Holidays are now upon us and we should ALL take a few moments and reflect on the recent year, looking at all the good, and not so good things that we can and should take responsibility for. Make a conscious effort to be just a little bit nicer, a little bit more friendlier, a little bit more human than we usually are. Then, try to make that last a full year. It isn't a hard thing to do - all you have to do, really, is WANT to do it. It's that simple. Is it too simple for you?

Think about it.
Enjoy the Holidays.

The Sky Is Falling, The Sky Is Falling...

...oh, it's just the leaves.

That's right campers, it's Fall and time to break out those rakes and leaf blowers. The air is getting cooler and the color of Fall is all around us. The yellows, oranges, and reds of Fall signal the Autumnal Equinox. Blink twice and it will be Haloween. Blink again and it will be Thanksgiving.

Okay, stop blinking already.

Everyone remain calm and don't get all stressed out.
Do not panic.
Chill out.

The Best Consumer Electronics Superstore on The Internet

Howdy y'all!

Well, I'm at it again. I am starting another website project. This time it's a consumer electronics superstore on the Internet. Digital Electronics Superstore (http://www.digitalelectronicssuperstore.com) is the place to get your personal electronics equipment at a great price. Great Products, Excellent Prices, Outstanding Service - that's our motto.

The site probably won't be officially launched for a few months, but I thought I'd let you know what's going on.

Stay tuned!

Danger Will Robinson, Danger...

I am starting out on a new branch of creativity. Well, it's not REALLY new; I have been dabbling with this idea for about 8 years now. Finally though, I am getting around to actual design and fabrication.

I am talking about personal robotics. My specifications are as follows:

6-wheel independent suspension
All-wheel drive on an articulated chassis
Intelligent motor speed control
Sonar navigation
Dead reckoning odometry
GPS locating
Wireless communications
Multiple onboard computer control
Infrared heat detection
Light detection
Aural detection
Speech recognition and synthesis
3-axis inertial measurement
Real-time video acquisition and transmission

It's an ambitious project, to be sure, but one that I have been going over in my head for quite a long while. I have found serious inspiration from the Open Automation Project and from various robot hobbyists around the world, most notably David P. Anderson and Mike Hamilton.

I am starting a new blog for this project complete with details, drawings, and photos.
If anyone can come up with a cool name, I will put your name up along with the appropriate credit. So start those brain cells boiling and send me your ideas for the project's name at robotproject2005@yahoo.com.

Site Moved To New Web Host

Hello everyone!

I have moved the e-InfoCenter website to a new hosting service.
The site is up and running at Thirdsphere and I must say, they offer quite a bit in terms of website hosting.

I am continuing to add more products all the time so stop by and see what's new.

The New Website Is Up, The New Website Is Up...

Yes, that's right, sportsfans, the new e-InfoCenter.com website is up and running. With an all new look and feel, you can now buy your information products with confidence and ease.

Finally, after months of sweat and calloused fingertips, I finally got the site uploaded to my hosting service. Okay, there are a few areas that are "coming soon", but hey, It's working.

So, work still continues as I code and implement the additional items. Go check it out for yourself at http://www.e-infocenter.com and buy a bunch of eBooks.

Presently, And Again...

Still hammering away at the ALL NEW Website I have tried to simplify everything and make it easier for the visitor to make a confident purchase.

I am employing the use of PHP and JavaScript, both of which I know little of. But hey, ya gotta learn sometime, eh?

At this point, the home page is pretty much complete, as are the incidental pages (FAQ's, About Us, Privacy, etc...) The product pages are all that remains to be completed and I am estimating that in another 2 1/2 - 3 weeks I will be relaunching the site. w00t!
