Once I Built a Railroad...

The collapse of the American automotive industry is just desserts for the greedy and corrupt horde that manipulate and abuse political power across our country.

The UAW is no better than the auto companies that breed contempt and sloth throughout the industry. Incalculable amounts of waste, pollution, and ineptitude glued together with copious amounts of mismanagement and you have the current state of affairs emanating from Detroit.

Dealerships falling like flies, thousands more being added to the roles of the unemployed, and more doom and gloom being spread far and wide by the media is causing great consternation among the American citizenry.

Perhaps we should look at all of this in a better light. We are eliminating, by force of nature if nothing else, the greed and corruption, waste, and corporate incompetence that will leave a vacuum in the remaining corporate structure that hopefully will be replaced with sensible, caring, and forthright individuals that can actually accomplish a respectable job of leadership.

These are unquestionably times of important change and adaptation in our country and we must do everything in our power to help move this great country forward. It is my hope that each and every one of us will do their part, as I am, to assist in recovering the American Spirit that made this country great!
